Vacant’ was a title conceived to brand a seminar to promote ’graphic design’ as a potential profession to secondary school students. Industry professionals and design lecturers representing various educational institutions, were invited to ’sell’ the profession at the event. The complementing graphics, depicting a stylized toilet cubicle lock (a recognizable symbol in schools) appeared on posters that were distributed to schools around South Australia.
