Missing Silver Spring Teen Has Not Been In Contact With Family

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Silver Spring teenager.

Joseph Abdul N’Bawa, 19, of Stewart Lane, has been reported as missing by his family.

Detectives believe that he may be in the White Oak area. He has not been in contact with his family, police said.

Police and family members are concerned for N’Bawa’s well-being.

N’Bawa is described by police as a black male, 5’8" and weighs 140 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of N’Bawa is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (available 24 hours). Callers may remain anonymous.
